After completion of medical school and residency, he established his private practice in the upstate of South Carolina to be closer to family. Dr. Moister has been trained in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery and enjoys helping patients of all ages and types. He performs cosmetic procedures as well as reconstructive surgery due to cancer, trauma, or congenital condition in both adult and pediatric patients. He is also skilled in hand surgery, as well as burn and complicated wound management.

 

His background in the visual arts as well as his knowledge of engineering and 3D design lend him a perspective unique to most surgeons, and he particularly enjoys applying this skillset to complicated cases. He also enjoys working on methods to utilize developing technology to assist with complex reconstructive surgery. Dr. Moister lives in Greenville with his wife and three young children. During his spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors with this family, rock climbing, drawing/painting and tinkering with his 3D printer and various projects in his garage.
